The Center's Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note: Our office is staffed with a full time director and two part time people. It is a good idea to call ahead if you plan to travel to visit.

DIRECTIONS to our Central Vermont Office and Resource Center: We are located in the "Firehouse at Barre" building (sign out front). The building is just southeast of the traffic lights at the main intersection in downtown Barre. (Washington, Main, Elm, and Prospect Streets and Routes 14 and 302.) It is directly across the street from the U. S. Post Office and the Shell gas station and kitty corner from the Barre Opera House.

Parking is available at the rear of the building, and around the corner on Church St.

If you come into Barre on any of the roads noted above, simply watch for the landmarks indicated. (Routes 302 & 14 converge & divide in Barre).

From Interstate 89 North, take Exit 6. Turn right; take a left at the traffic light. You are now on Route 14, follow into Barre - it becomes So. Main St. and watch for landmarks noted above.

From Interstate 89 South, take Exit 7. Go straight through three sets of traffic lights. Immediately past third set, lanes divide, stay LEFT, following Barre overhead sign. Continue to second traffic light at the end of this "beltway". Turn right, you are now on North Main St. (and Route 302), watch for landmarks noted above.

The Vermont Women's Business Center offers one-to-one business counseling and a variety of training and networking opportunities statewide. Our other offices are located in Rutland-Bennington, Burlington, Westminster, and St. Johnsbury-Newport.
